Downtown: Visit shops selling the latest fashions and gifts, grab a bite to eat at a Saratoga restaurant (top five in the US for restaurants per capita), catch a movie at the new theater, or hit the spas for some R&R.  

 Congress Park Congress Park: Take a break from bustling Broadway to enjoy the old-time carousel, fountains, gardens, and mineral springs

Saratoga Race Course: Named by Sports Illustrated as the #10 sports venue of the 20th century,“The Track” draws thousands of visitors from all over the world for its 40-day summer season. 

 Beekman Street

Beekman Street Art District: Saratoga's premier art district, Beekman Street is the city’s center of creativity. Visit exquisite galleries, cool bistros, and funky artist shops perfect for locating that unique “find." 

 Spa State Park

Spa State Park: Plan an afternoon of swimming and recreation (biking, hiking, tennis, or golf) or enjoy a picnic in the park. In winter, go cross-country skiing on the park’s numerous nature trails. 


Saratoga National Historic Park: History comes to life at this historic park where the Battle of Saratoga was fought and won. The park features intriguing artifacts and engaging activities, making history fun for all ages.

Saratoga Lake 

Saratoga Lake: Located a few minutes south of downtown Saratoga Springs, the lake provides the perfect location for fishing, boating, waterskiing,and more. 

 Yaddo Gardens

Yaddo Gardens: Just east of the busy downtown and the race track lies Yaddo, an artists’ community/retreat frequented by the likes of James Baldwin and Sylvia Plath. Located on a peaceful 400-acre estate featuring beautiful rose and rock gardens, the grounds are free and open to the public.


Museums and galleries: Saratoga is home to the National Museum of Dance and also the National Museum of Racing; there’s a fascinating city history museum and automobile museum; and the local art galleries offer First Saturday open houses.
