Many alumni are familiar with a service called "e-mail for life" or "permanent e-mail." While not an actual e-mail account, this service will forward your e-mail to whatever e-mail address you choose.

Once you register for Skidmore's Alumni Community, you will be assigned an e-mail address such as:

lscribner22@skidmore.edu

When your family and friends send e-mail to this address, it is forwarded to your e-mail account at home or work.

All you need to do is keep Skidmore informed of your most current and preferred e-mail address, and no matter how many times you change jobs or your internet service provider, e-mail sent to your "@skidmore.edu" address will always reach you.
