The U. of Michigan
Digital Library web site enables searching of Public Papers volumes
covering the administrations of Presidents Hoover, Truman, Eisenhower,
Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon, Ford, Carter, Reagan, Bush, and Clinton. As
subsequent volumes are published, they will be added online.

Missouri Census Data Center site's Mable-Geocorr is searchable by a
variety of geographic variables.
- For instance to
locate a list of all cities in a particular state by their
corresponding Congressional district: Select state(s), then
"Place, City, Town, Village, etc." on the right menu, and
"Congressional District (2000) or (2002) depending on what you want,
on the left menu. Skip all the other choices and go down to the
bottom of the page and click on "Run Request". It will output a
listing and also a comma separated value [.csv] file for use in
spreadsheets.

As the public policy
research arm of the U.S. Congress, the Library of Congress' CRS is a
source of nonpartisan, objective analysis and research on all
legislative issues.

Steve Stoft developed a custom Google search to
search "just about every CRS report available on the web".
- Open CRS - A project of the
Center for Democracy & Technology to provide a centralized
utility for searching more than a half-dozen existing collections of
over 8,000 CRS reports in the public domain.

Libraries - University of North Texas Libraries provides
integrated, searchable and permanent access to many of the full-text
CRS reports that have been available at a variety of different Web
sites since 1990.

The Catalog of U.S. Government
Publications (CGP) is the finding tool for electronic and print
publications from the legislative, executive, and judicial branches of
the U.S. government. These publications make up the National
Bibliography of U.S. Government Publications. The CGP contains
descriptive records for historical and current publications and provides
direct links to those that are available online. At present the
Monthly Catalog should be consulted for pre-1976
indexing.
