    • U. S. Congressional Bibliographies - Compiled at NCSU Libraries, the U.S. Congressional Bibliographies enumerate and describe meetings held by Congressional committees since 1985, those for which printed transcripts are issued, and those that remain unprinted.

    • Biographical Directory of the U.S. Congress - search for members of Congress 1774 - present
    • Congressional Districts by Location - Missouri Census Data Center site's Mable-Geocorr is searchable by a variety of geographic variables.
      • For instance to locate a list of all cities in a particular state by their corresponding Congressional district: Select state(s), then "Place, City, Town, Village, etc." on the right menu, and "Congressional District (2000) or (2002) depending on what you want, on the left menu. Skip all the other choices and go down to the bottom of the page and click on "Run Request". It will output a listing and also a comma separated value [.csv] file for use in spreadsheets.
    • CRS (Congressional Research Service) Reports
      As the public policy research arm of the U.S. Congress, the Library of Congress' CRS is a source of nonpartisan, objective analysis and research on all legislative issues.
      • Custom Google search of CRS Reports
        Steve Stoft developed a custom Google search to search "just about every CRS report available on the web".
      • Open CRS - A project of the Center for Democracy & Technology to provide a centralized utility for searching more than a half-dozen existing collections of over 8,000 CRS reports in the public domain.
      • CRS Reports/UNT Libraries - University of North Texas Libraries provides integrated, searchable and permanent access to many of the full-text CRS reports that have been available at a variety of different Web sites since 1990.
      • Selected CRS Reports - Law Librarians' Society of Washington, D.C. provides some 36 alphabetically arranged CRS reports and links to most other CRS Reports on the Internet. (Be sure to scroll down this page!)
      • FAS CRS Reports - The Federation of American Scientists' collection primarily addresses national security, foreign policy and related topics.

  • GPO Access - U.S. Government Printing Office provides access to federal government information
  • Fedworld - gateway to federal government information from the National Technical Information Service (NTIS)
  • Science.gov - a gateway to authoritative selected science information provided by U.S. Government agencies, including research and development results
  • Subject Indexes to Government Information on the Web
    Directs the user to Subject Indexes which have been created for
    the purpose of identifying government internet resources in a given subject area.
  • Catalog of U.S. Government Publications and related titles:
    The Catalog of U.S. Government Publications (CGP) is the finding tool for electronic and print publications from the legislative, executive, and judicial branches of the U.S. government. These publications make up the National Bibliography of U.S. Government Publications. The CGP contains descriptive records for historical and current publications and provides direct links to those that are available online. At present the Monthly Catalog should be consulted for pre-1976 indexing.
