Penfield Hall is one of the four residences that make up the Moore Quad.
Disabled access to Penfield is difficult because of greater-than-acceptable rise from the sidewalk level to the main entrance. Because Penfield has no elevator, only the first floor is wheelchair-accessible.
Adelia Penfield was one of the first women Lucy Skidmore Scribner chose in 1903 to help her manage the Young Women's Industrial Club. Mrs. Penfield was named a trustee of the newly chartered Skidmore School of Arts in 1911 and served on the board until her death in 1936. Creative Thought Matters.
