To Request a Certification Letter:
First check the information below to see
which office you need to contact:
- Matriculated undergraduate students, contact
the Registrar's Office at (518)580-5710
- Masters Program
certifications contact the MALS office at (518)580-5480
- UWW student certifications
contact the UWW office at (518)580-5450
A typical certification letter contains:
- Student's name
- Graduation date
- Enrollment dates
for current school year
- Status (full or
part time) and definition of full-time status
- Registrar's signature
- Official Skidmore
seal/stamp if necessary
- Other details may
be included upon request (parent reference information [i.e. name
or social security number], insurance policy number, etc.)
Send an email to register@skidmore.edu including
the following information in your request:
- Student's full name
(include maiden name if applicable)
- Class year or dates
of attendance at Skidmore
- Address to where
the certification is to be sent
- Type of certification
(enrollment, good student, degree or veterans)
- Deadlines
- Any additional information
needed (parent reference info [i.e. name or social security number],
insurance policy number, etc.)
