When I look at where I am in my life presently, and think back to where I was when I began to pursue my degree through Skidmore, I can hardly believe all that has transpired. Prior to 1998 I was a pharmacy technician for approximately ten years. That is what I knew, and that is what I thought I wanted. However, a lay-off in 1995 put me out of work, living in an area that had a job shortage. It was my time of soul searching and eventually led to the decision that I wanted to attend college to pursue a degree.
