2009/2010 UWW Scholarships (Scroll down for additional scholarships)
Application Deadline: September 30, 2009

It is our pleasure to offer assistance in the form of scholarship grants available to UWW students for the 2009/2010 academic year. Students should show evidence of those qualities that UWW seeks to foster: academic excellence, commitment to learning, independence and self discipline. Awards are made on the basis of academic merit and financial need.

Eligibility: The UWW Scholarship competition is open to any enrolled UWW student, in good standing, who has completed and fully documented two UWW learning experiences before September 15, 2009.  Please contact your academic advisor if you are unsure if your courses are documented.

Nancy Simon and Charles Cooper Acceleration Scholarship 2009/2010

University Without Walls at Skidmore College is fortunate to have scholarship funding for four students who, through this scholarship, can accelerate their degree program with UWW. Through a generous donation from Nancy Simon and Charles Cooper this scholarship, in light of the phase out of the UWW program, is designated for students who could use scholarship funds to progress more quickly toward degree completion. Applicants should show evidence of those qualities that UWW seeks to foster: academic excellence, commitment to learning, independence and self-discipline. Awards are made on the basis of academic merit and financial need as well as the ability to demonstrate a personal plan for degree acceleration.

Eligibility: The scholarship competition is open to any enrolled UWW student, in good standing, who has completed two UWW learning experiences before September 15, 2009.

Nancy Simon and Charles Cooper Acceleration Scholarship 4 @ $5,000

All UWW students may fill out this scholarship application for the Cooper Acceleration Scholarship.

Schupf/Sussman Antigua Initiative Scholarship Application 2009/2010

University Without Walls at Skidmore College is fortunate to have scholarship funding for our Antigua Initiative through a generous donation from Sara Lee Schupf and Donald Sussman. This donation is designated for UWW students from Antigua for the 2009/2010 academic year. Applicants should show evidence of those qualities that UWW seeks to foster: academic excellence, commitment to learning, independence and self-discipline. Awards are made on the basis of academic merit and financial need.

Eligibility: The scholarship competition is open to any enrolled UWW student from Antigua, in good standing, who has completed two UWW learning experiences before September 15, 2009.

UWW students from Antigua only may fill out this scholarship application for the Schupf/Sussman Antigua Initiative Scholarship
