For
those of you returning to school after a long absence, or even
those of you that have never been in an academic setting, writing
that first academic paper can feel like a large burden -- even
with years of successful job-specific writing experience.
Please
take advantage of the resources available to you as a UWW student,
mainly those listed on the Skidmore
Writing Center's resources Web page.
Also
feel free to send a draft of your papers to your academic or faculty
advisor for review. Learning to incorporate comments and revisions
will get you ready for working on a major research paper, such
as the UWW Final Project.
